This goal setting method is based on neuroscience. This neuroscience application is based on universal laws of nature. The more you come to accept, apply and align your life and your business with these universal laws, the more you will experience transformation beyond your imagination. Universal laws never change and cannot be broken. We have to align ourselves with universal laws because we are also part of this universe. 

At a subconscious level, when you learn how to set clear, motivating, challenging and measurable goals, you will achieve more in less time, less frustration and effort.

Before we begin with the process, I have a simple question for you. 

Are you a problem solver or a compulsive goal setter? This means; do you set your goals to resolve some problem in your life OR you work on a plan with the intention to reach a certain goal in your life. 

My life improved when I understood the real difference between these two. This clearly means that; I am the creator of my destiny. For things to change in my life, first I have to change.

Moment you you realize this, your perspective towards life changes. You become aware of your situation. Your acceptance level becomes very high. You come out of three most dangerous words – I KNOW THAT.

This means, most people are okay with what is happening in their life and are not ready to change. We need to understand to the deeper level that, Everything in this world is constant except change.

Today is the time to accept the change and begin fresh journey towards success. This is compulsive goal setting process. Most people wait for an event to make a resolution. Say, beginning a new year is a very hopeful time. New Year’s resolutions come on paper which we’re determined to accomplish. We start BIG, Yet, all too often, we stumble over the first steps of change and quietly retreat to old, unhealthy habits. 

Why does most resolutions go dead in a very short span of time.  Let us understand scientific reason behind this. 

Resolution v/s goal

When people decide on a resolution, they meant this by the final outcome. Your journey from your present situation to desired outcome has to be bridged by a series of small steps. These small steps are goals for you to achieve. 

So your Goals, not resolutions are key to long term growth and success. The best resolutions are about setting goals and making a dedicated plan to achieve them. 

You have the power to initiate self-improvement goals anytime.  In a year you have 365 New Days and 365 new chances. Today is a new day.

Why do resolutions fail?

Studies have concluded that, by February, as many as 80% of New Year’s resolutions will have been abandoned. This suggests that our way of approaching and planning for New Year resolutions is wrong.

A New Year’s resolution is a tradition, in which a person promises himself to continue good practices, change an undesired trait or behavior, accomplish a personal goal, or otherwise improve their behavior at the beginning of a calendar year.

Many New Year’s resolutions fail because we’re merely looking for a new experience and we haven’t truly committed to real change. It is easy to say that; I want business growth and financial freedom. 

Question needs to be asked here is; What am I really doing in order to make resolution a reality?

Getting your desired outcome is not about doing something once or twice. Transforming your life requires deep self-reflection, overcoming your beliefs and building new habits. The best resolutions are about setting goals and making a dedicated plan to achieve them.  

No one can change you except you. You are 100% responsible for every outcome of your life.

Imagine what your life would be like if;

  1. You are able to run your business without your involvement.
  2. You are 100% debt free and enjoying your financial freedom. 
  3. You are well prepared for your retirement
  4. You are in the perfect plan to achieve your financial goals. 
  5. Your systems are making crores of rupees every year. 

I can keep writing all the dreams and aspirations all human beings carry in their mind. For most people. These dreams get buried under the carpet just because of the style in which you set your goals. 

Setting realistic and attainable goals is very important. Possibility of achieving a goal is very high if you set a goal that’s doable and meaningful. So let us not wait for an occasion to improve your life.

Never get stuck in the past present loop. Start working from the future you wish to create versus forward from current or past constraints and circumstances. 

Reverse working from future to present status is making yourself a compulsive goal setter. To become a compulsive goal setter you must have following thriving thoughts in your mind. 

  1. Lead from front.  Start working immediately. Power of NOW is very high.
  2. Be crystal clear of what you want in your life. Clarity leads to power
  3. As a founder – keep your energy high. You matter – Your vision, your creativity, what you offer, how you offer it and your well-being counts.
  4. Your business is a reflection of you. Your current results in your business are the result of your actions.
  5. Be Responsible 
  6. Be of service. If in doubt, make a difference to others. 
  7. Focus on what you want and not on what you don’t want. 
  8. Work your strategy. 
  9. Take your critical action.
  10. Ask for and get support.
  11. Make some promises now to yourself about the future
  12.  Work on what is possible and not on what is predictable or probable.

With above thriving thoughts, use following steps to set a breakthrough goal for your life. 


Decide exactly on what you want in the following areas of your life. 

Income, business, family, health, net worth etc. 

Pen down

Writing on paper gives power to your thoughts. Pen down all possible goals you wish to achieve in one month, one year or 5 years. Be clear with your thoughts. 

Your doesn’t understand which action is good or bad. Your mind follow exact path given by you.  


Goal without a deadline is just a hope. This is like shooting in dark. So make a clear, specific, detailed and measurable goal. What gets measured gets done.

If your goal is getting measured, the probability of you acting on the information you have is very high. Regular measurement and reporting keeps you focused on your goals. 

Self talk

My life changed completely when I started looking for solutions of my problems within me. Your success always starts with yourself. 

  1. Write down what is on your mind talking with you. Locate which thoughts can hamper your goals. These are probable obstacles on your journey to achieve your goals. 
  2. Identify knowledge, information and skills you need to have in order to fulfill your goal. 
  3. Make a list of people, businesses, entities and groups who can help you to achieve your goal. 

Organize your data

Every data collected is very important. You cannot miss any thing. Your probable obstacles, knowledge and skills required by you and also every person who can be helpful in your journey. Once you are intone with your goal, you will be able to locate many other important points. 

It is said that, once we start blowing balloon, holes get visible. This means, once you start growing, you will be able to identify more loopholes in your mind. Just pick them and add to your list. 

Define your important goal

Let us follow the basic principle of nature. The universe exists in perfect harmony. Every activity of nature is just perfected to the current situation. So with this principle of nature, you cannot give justice to 2 activities at a time. You have to choose one and focus on that. 

So ask yourself a question. From the list of goals I have written, which is the most important goal for me in my current situation. This is your breakthrough goal. If you are able to achieve this goal, then automatically you will get strength for all other goals and path becomes easier.  

Make a Plan

Earlier in this write up said that, you always have to work from future to present. Decide exactly what you achieve, where you want to go. From that point define each step towards your current position. 

This process will keep you on ground. You never go in overwhelmed position. You have clear activity on what to do today.    

When you have goal and plan to achieve that goal, probability of you achieving your goal is 10 times higher. 


This is most important step in the process to achieve goal. Self discipline on execution is very important. 

Here is an challenge. On your journey towards goal, you will be facing lot distractions. Once you fall prey to these distractions, you will lose your energy, focus, time and at the end get frustrated. 

So concentrate single-mindedly on that one task until it is 100% complete. 

Whatever you focus on expands. So have a clear picture of your goal and start visualizing as if you have achieved. Start talking in present tense. 

Example – 

  1. I am a person with a healthy athlete body with 72 kgs weight.
  2. My monthly passive income is Rs. 10 lac
  3. My annual turnover in terms of revenue is Rs. 12 crores. 


Decide where exactly you want to go. write it down, make a plan and work on it in detail. You have to do this again and again until this becomes your habit and ingrained in your mind. 

Promise yourself that you will never give up. Make sure you are your own accountability partner. Everytime you fail; get up, learn from experience. Every experience will make you stronger and better.
